Fragments Stained Glass Studio is the home of the unique glass work practice of Artist Zoe Matthews. Zoe’s inspiration comes from the intersection of Stained Glass work and lived human experience. She draws upon the shadow-side and the fragments of human personality and life stories.

The historic tradition of story telling with stained glass aligns with her background in psychiatric care and appeals to her interest in our constructed narratives and how they help us with our meaning-making. Her designs are developed from the organic shapes and colours found in her paintings

She now takes commissions and offers one on one tutoring from her private studio in Preston Park. Her specialism is the rare technique of Silver Stain and and glass painting alongside more conventional techniques.
